Audition with Alley Rep

Want to audition with Alley Rep? Outstanding! We encourage all actors, performers, designers, directors, stage managers, and people managers to meet with us if interested in working with our company.

General auditions with Alley Rep usually occur in the fall, with callbacks to follow. We produce three shows a season, with a winter musical in December, and spring shows in March and April.

While we hold general auditions ahead of each season, we encourage everyone to reach out and submit to us year-round!

General Audition Requirements

Actors: Please bring a headshot and resume to the audition and prepare a 1 to 1 1/2-minute contemporary monologue. (*A selection of a song might also be required as well for the singers out there.)

Designers/Directors: please bring a portfolio or work experiences that could be applicable to stage design, directing, and production.

Stage Managers or People Managers: please bring examples of work experience where you managed large projects, multiple tasks, and lots of people with grace under pressure, organization, and kindness.
